Ancient Islamic Coin Umayyad bronze Æ fals, struck in Aelia Capitolina “Jerusalem”, dates back to the reign of Caliph ‘Abd al-Malik ibn Marwan (AH 65-86 / AD 685-705).
A very interesting double struck Fals the fals of Umayyad undated without mint coin struck over a coin of the standing Caliph mint of Palestine/Filastin.

- Caliph standing facing forward, with the inscription “محمد” (Muhammad) on the left and “رسول الله” (Messenger of Allah) on the right.

- Large “M” with “فلسطين” (Palestine) inscribed to the right.
This coin is very interesting due to its double struck nature.
