Ancient Roman Glass Beaker found with a bronze ladle stuck inside (Very Nice and Very Rare Combination)
Eastern Mediterranean 1st Century AD.
Body with rounded walls narrowing sharply downwards; with slightly flanged rim, on massive, flat pad-base; semi-spherical, concave bottom. Clear aquamarine glass; with various-sized bubbles. Wide polished groove between two thin engraved girdles on upper section of body, Rim sliced off and polished.
In very good condition.
