Ancient Byzantine Glass Juglet, Syria-Palestine / Mold-blown
Date: 4th/5th Century AD .
Rim folded inward, cylindrical neck, Cylindrical body, concave base with pontil mark. Thick trail handle rises from shoulder to middle of neck and is wound upward around it five times,
On body, vertical ribbing.
In very good condition intact
Cylindrical bottles and Juglets with mold-blown vertical ribbing on the body were common in Syria-Palestine. The type remained in use for long periods of time
