A very interesting double struck Fals the fals of Umayyad undated without mint coin struck over a coin of the standing Caliph mint of Palestine/Filastin.

Iliya Filastin (Aelia Capitolina [Jerusalem]) mint. (this image of the standing Caliph comes only on the coin of Aelia)

  • Obverse Inscription:
    • Caliph standing facing forward, with the inscription “محمد” (Muhammad) on the left and “رسول الله” (Messenger of Allah) on the right.
  • Reverse Inscription:
    • Large “M” with “فلسطين” (Palestine) inscribed to the right.

This coin is very interesting due to its double struck nature.
