Rare Roman Mold-Blown Glass Bottle
1st century CE / Eastern Mediterranean
Greenish-bluish glass with large bubbles, blown in a mold. Elegant form with folded rim, cylindrical neck, and tapering body.
Richly decorated in relief with almond-shaped knobs and distinctive vegetal motifs including leaves, and budding floral elements.
Surface with nice patina iridescence
A rare example: only Tow closely comparable piece is known (Hans Cohn Collection), with another related example in the Israel Museum. Notably uncommon as a bottle rather than the usual beaker form.
Restored And Upper part mended but in good condition and extremely Rare.
