Ancient Roman Eastern Mediterranean Glass Vessel,
ca. 3rd–5th century CE
Free-blown pale green glass vessel with a globular body and everted rim, applied with multiple vertical trails forming decorative handles, and a rare arched “basket” handle above the mouth. The applied elements are skillfully tooled, creating a striking sculptural effect.
A distinctive and uncommon form within late Roman–early Byzantine glass production.
Condition: the handle mended and there is a small crack on the body, typical manufacturing bubbles and its in very good condition and very Rare.
