large and impressive gilded silver Tumar amulet chest ornament – Turkestan1870-1920
The impressive ornament is comprised of a triangular element finely engraved and gilded. Above are fine floral motifs. The center of the ornament is an amulet holder which opens on one of its ends. Below is an organic element followed by silver chains with bells at their ends. carnelian cabochons are set throughout.
